Woensdagochtend ben ik vertrokken vanaf Jerez richting Sevilla. Een prachtige route door de heuvels van Andalusië. Ik heb een camperplaats gevonden een aantal kilometer buiten het centrum van Sevilla. Helaas zijn er maar weinig camperplaatsen of campings te vinden via Park4Night in de buurt van Sevilla. De camperplaats die ik heb gevonden kost €15,- per nacht inclusief stroom. Vanaf de ingang van de camperplaats vertrekt er een aantal keer per dag een lijnbus richting de stad.
Rond 11:30 ben ik aangekomen op de camperplaats en check ik in voor 3 nachten. Ik besluit om de bus van 12:45 te pakken richting het centrum om mij te oriënteren in de stad. Zoals aangegeven op de blaadjes bij de receptie komt de bus ongeveer een kwartier later aanrijden. De busrit duurt ongeveer 30 minuten en kost €1,75. De bus stopt midden in het centrum van Sevilla. Aangekomen in Sevilla loop ik richting het plein Plaza de España. Omdat de laatste bus op deze route om 18:00 terug gaat, heb ik niet veel tijd in de stad. Dus ik besluit om in het zuidelijke gedeelte van de stad te blijven.
Na wat rondgelopen te hebben over Plaza de España en door Parque de Maria Luisa, loop ik weer terug richting het busstation om de bus terug te pakken richting de camperplaats.
First day in Seville
Wednesday morning, I departed from Jerez heading towards Seville. A beautiful route through the hills of Andalusia. I found a camper site a few kilometers outside the center of Seville. Unfortunately, there are few camper sites or campgrounds to be found via Park4Night in the vicinity of Seville. The camper site I found costs €15 per night, including electricity. From the entrance of the camper site, a local bus departs several times a day towards the city.
Around 11:30, I arrived at the camper site and checked in for 3 nights. I decide to take the bus at 12:45 towards the center to orient myself in the city. As indicated on the leaflets at the reception, the bus arrives approximately fifteen minutes later. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs €1.75. The bus stops right in the center of Seville. Upon arrival in Seville, I walk towards Plaza de España. Since the last bus on this route returns at 18:00, I don’t have much time in the city. So, I decide to stay in the southern part of the city.
After wandering around Plaza de España and through Parque de Maria Luisa, I walk back towards the bus station to catch the bus back to the camper site.
