Who am I?
My name is Jeffrey, a 29-year-old with a heart full of a desire for new experiences. I grew up in Oeffelt, but my roots lie in Indonesia. In 2008, my parents built a villa in Bali, and since 2020, they have spent half the year there. This led to me buying my own house in 2018, as my parents sold their house and shop. As a result, I haven’t had the chance to go on an adventure until now.
From a young age, I traveled with my parents through various states in the U.S. These trips sparked my love for adventure and broadened my horizons. I have also traveled extensively through Asia and Europe.
Since completing my vocational training as an electrical installer, I have worked with great dedication at J&S Elektrotechniek. I’ve always had a longing to seek out adventure, but I never had the courage to take that step. However, after some life lessons, I realized that life happens here and now, and that I can’t wait any longer to embark on my adventure.
In the summer of 2022, I started working with the technical team of FjordSafari in Norway. Every day, I watched my colleagues take guests out on the fjord in boats, and it sparked a desire in me to join them. Eventually, I decided to take the D5L course, which allows me to guide and operate boats with guests. I completed the course in late October and am now ready to start working next year as a Boat Driver & Guide for FjordSafari in Flåm.
I am therefore determined to make the most of life and turn my dreams into reality. It’s time to step into the world, broaden my horizons, and write my own story.
